“What will happen in 2017?” It’s a loaded question, and you risk embarrassment in the future if you’re wrong.
Exhibit A — Famous scientist John von Neumann said in 1949: “It would appear that we have reached the limits of what it’s possible to achieve with computer technology, although one should be careful with such statements, as they tend to sound pretty silly in five years.”
That’s right Mr. Neumann.
Risking it all, a few Sonic Foundry employees took their best guesses anyway about what this new year will bring.
Will they be right? We’ll see.
